Windsor, ON - The National Basketball League of Canada issued a press release on Saturday morning announcing the reinstatement of Express head coach Bill Jones, effective immediately.

Jones had been serving a suspension, originally slated for one year, stemming from an incident during the 2014-15 NBL Canada Finals vs. the Halifax Rainmen.

The league ruled that the suspension would be reduced to 20 games in the 2015-16 season. Friday night's game in Niagara was the Express' 20th.

The Express will face off against their division rivals, the London Lightning, Saturday night at the WFCU Centre. Tip-off is 7:30pm. Jones will be on the bench for the first time this season on Saturday as he takes over head coaching duties from interim head coach and older brother, Tony Jones.

Windsor Express fans are encouraged to come out to the WFCU Centre Saturday to welcome back coach Jones! Jones has a career record of 96-56 in three seasons coaching for the Express along with two NBL Canada championships and the 2014 NBL Canada Coach of the Year award.
