
Clippers Cant Keep up with Hustle

ONTARIO, CA- The Agua Caliente Clippers (15-8) drop the first of a back-to-back weekend series against the Memphis Hustle (10-16), 104-106, on Saturday night.
Jordan Ford led Agua Caliente with 18 points off the bench. Shevon Thompson added 14 points and five rebounds in 18 minutes before fouling out.
Three Hustle players scored at least 20, led by Damien Jefferson's 22 points off the bench. Ben Moore added a 21-point, 12-rebound double-double while Santi Aldama rounds out the group with 21 points of his own.
Things looked good for the Clippers as the opened the game with a 9-0 advantage. The tides quickly changed, however, as the Hustle ended the first quarter with an 8-0 run to take a 12-point advantage. That lead would grow to as much as 18 as Memphis held a firm grasp on the contest the rest of the way.
The Clippers looks to the right the ship tomorrow as the host a rematch against the Hustle. Tip off is at 3 p.m. PT inside the Toyota Arena in Ontario, Calif.
