Cleveland Comets Make Appearance at Crushers Game

The Lake Erie Crushers, presented by Mercy Health, announced today they are partnering with the Cleveland Comets to bring professional Women's Fast Pitch Softball to Sprenger Health Care Stadium. The Comets, formerly known as the Akron Racers, will play six games at Sprenger Stadium in Avon, Friday August 3rd through Wednesday August 8th.

"Softball is very popular in many of Cleveland's west-side suburbs" stated Crushers Co-Owner Jacqueline Kramig. "The chance to bring the very best women's players in the world to Sprenger Stadium is very exciting, and we think the fans will really appreciate the opportunity to watch the Comets play."

Game times will be 7:05 Friday, Saturday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights. The Sunday August 5th game will be a 2:05 start time. Friday's game will also feature post-game fireworks and all six games will include post-game autographs by all of the Comets Players.
