Chukars Outpace Raptors in 10-6 Game 4 Final
June 20, 2025 - Pioneer League (PL)
Ogden Raptors News Release
The Raptors couldn't keep pace with Idaho Falls' offense on Friday night, falling 10-6 in Game 4 of the series despite another strong showing at the plate.
Ogden jumped out front with a three-run second frame thanks to an RBI double from Evan Blum, a Kenny Oyama two-bagger, and a single from Connor Bagnieksi. But the Chukars quickly answered, scoring four in the bottom half and adding on in bunches throughout the night.
The Raptors clawed back in the fifth with a solo shot from Cole Jordan, and again in the seventh when Christopher Sargent Jr. blasted a two-run homer to bring Ogden within two runs. Sargent and Bagnieksi each tallied multi-hit games, while Cole Jordan stayed hot, blasting his second home run of the year.
But a pair of late-inning tallies by the Chukars-including a solo homer from Anthony Mata-pushed the game out of reach, as Ogden's bullpen was unable to keep the hosts quiet through the middle frames.
The Raptors will look to bounce back Saturday night in Game 5 and win the series. First pitch is at 7:05 PM. The six-game road set wraps Sunday, before the team returns home to Lindquist Field on Tuesday, June 24, to open a six-game set against the Northern Colorado Owlz.
Tuesday night marks Canner's Cap Giveaway Night. Fans are encouraged to arrive early to grab 1 of 300 limited-edition Ogden Canners' Throwback Caps, courtesy of Bank of Utah!
