Idaho Falls Chukars News Release
The roster of the Idaho Falls Chukars is in flux with players both coming and going. Pitcher Zane Carlson has been promoted to Class A Burlington (Iowa) effective immediately. Carlson had posted a 1.00 ERA with 5 saves for the Chukars in 8 games. He had 6 strikeouts with just 2 walks.
Two players will be joining the team Thursday on their road trip. Travis Trammell a right-handed pitcher who pitched for Idaho Falls last season will join the team after recovering from an injury. The other new addition will be right-handed pitcher Mario Santiago, who was drafted in the 16th round of this year's June draft out of Baton Rouge (La.) Community College. He had pitched 2 innings for the Royals rookie league team in Arizona.
