
'Chucks Drop Second in Battle Creek

Battle Creek, MI - The Wisconsin Woodchucks (25-32, 12-10 Second Half) dropped the second of a two-game set to the Battle Creek Bombers (29-28, 11-10 Second Half), 6-1, Sunday at C.O. Brown Stadium in Battle Creek, Michigan.
Tony Gudino (UC-Riverside) tallied three hits, including two doubles, to lead the Woodchucks' offense. Marquise Doherty (MIssouri) chipped in two hits of his own and scored the Woodchucks' only run.
The 'Chucks finished the eight-game road trip at 5-3 to put themselves solidly in the hunt for the second half South Division title.
Tanner Thomas (Utah) took the loss for the Woodchucks.
