Choose the Chicago Wolves' Wine Tasting Fundraiser on Election Day

March 14, 2016 - American Hockey League (AHL)
Chicago Wolves News Release

The Chicago Wolves suggest the perfect way to cap Illinois' Election Day is to join several Wolves standouts at the team's Wine Tasting Fundraiser from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Harry Caray's in Rosemont.

Fans will sample a variety of delicious wines and appetizers while mixing with Wolves players in an engaging atmosphere. AHL All-Star Challenge MVP Pat Cannone, the team's captain and leading scorer, headlines the Wolves contingent that includes goaltender Jordan Binnington, forward Jeremy Welsh and defensemen Andre Benoit, Chris Butler and Peter Harrold.

The Wolves have partnered with Roselle-based Lynfred Winery, which has supplied several premier wines that feature their Vin de City Red, Vin de City White, American Montepulciano and more.

"The guys love coming out and being a part of this event," said Wolves senior vice president of operations Courtney Mahoney. "It's a great chance for fans to talk with our captain and some of the veteran guys on our team. They're so accessible and relaxed. We have some really great wines from Lynfred and I know we have a lot of fans who are conneisseurs, so that's a good pairing."

Tickets are available for fans at least 21 years of age and can be reserved for a $65 donation. Fans receive a free gift along with the opportunity to win raffle prizes and bid on exclusive auction items.

Proceeds from the event benefit Chicago Wolves Charities, which works with more than a dozen Illinois-based charities. Chicago Wolves Charities has raised more than $4 million for local organizations. For more information, call 1-800-THE-WOLVES or visit ChicagoWolves.com.
