
Jets Recall Melchiori

The Winnipeg Jets Hockey Club, in conjunction with its AHL affiliate, the Manitoba Moose, announced defenceman Julian Melchiori has been recalled on an emergency basis from the Moose.
Melchiori, 24, has played 59 games for the Manitoba Moose this season, recording six points (2G, 4A) and 46 penalty minutes. Melchiori has 31 career AHL points (5G, 26A) in 232 games over five seasons. He played one NHL game with Winnipeg in 2014. He was drafted by the Atlanta Thrashers in the third round, 87th overall, in the 2010 NHL Draft.
