St. John's IceCaps News Release


GREAT SCOTT: John Scott potted his first goal at Mile One Centre on Sunday afternoon. Since joining the IceCaps in January, Scott has recorded four points (2G, 2A), three of which came in the past four games.

NOTABLE HIGHS: Bud Holloway sits fourth in league scoring, with 18 goals and 34 assists in 57 games this season.

ONE LAST ROADY : The IceCaps head off on their seventh and final road trip of the season to face the Comets, Crunch, Americans and Marlies before returning home for six games at Mile One.

The IceCaps topped the visiting Senators at Mile One Centre. Gabriel Dumont lead the way with a goal and two assists, including the game-winner. Charles Hudon had a goal and an assist (his team-leading 20th tally of the season and a new career high) while Max Friberg and Shane Bakker (his first AHL goal) also scored for the IceCaps. Eddie Pasquale stopped 24 shots to pick up his third straight win.

Eddie Pasquale made 23 saves as the St. John's IceCaps edged the Hershey Bears at Mile One Centre. Bud Holloway scored the game-winner on the power play at 4:28 of the third period while Max Friberg also scored for St. John's. Andrew Yogan notched an assist to extend his point streak to five (1G, 4A).

The IceCaps snapped a four-game point streak with a loss to the Senators at Mile One Centre. St. John's had trouble solving Binghamton netminder Matt O'Connor, who stopped 23-of-24 pucks for the win. Andrew Yogan scored the lone goal for the IceCaps while John Scott picked up an assist.

Zach Sill scored with just 1:05 left in regulation to hand the IceCaps a loss Sunday evening at Mile One Centre. John Scott tied the game for St. John's early in the third and Gabriel Dumont notched his 17th of the season in the second period on the power play. Pasquale stopped 26 shots in the loss, his first in his last five starts.
