Chivas USA's McNamara & Jean-Baptiste Undergo Successful Surgery

CARSON, Calif. (Thursday, May 1, 2014) - Chivas USA midfielder Thomas McNamara and defender Andrew Jean-Baptiste respectively underwent successful procedures. McNamara suffered a right ACL during the club's 1-1 road draw against the Portland Timbers on April 12, while Jean-Baptiste had been nursing a sports hernia since 2013. According to the postsurgical report, McNamara will be away from the soccer fields for eight months and will be added to the league's disabled list, while Jean-Baptiste will be out of action for an estimated eight weeks.

The Red-and-White will host Eastern Conference foe the Houston Dynamo on Saturday as the club celebrates "Women Rock LA" night, which honors influential females in the Greater Los Angeles Area.
