Chivas Usa's Jesse Marsch To Appear On Fox Football Fone-In On Fox Soccer Channel Tonight

CARSON, Calif. (Monday, Oct. 26, 2009) - Chivas USA vice captain and MLS Original Jesse Marsch will appear on tonight's Fox Football Fone-In talk show on Fox Soccer Channel, with the midfielder on the air at about 5:30 p.m. PT (8:30 p.m. ET). Marsch will discuss the upcoming Playoff Super Clásico against the LA Galaxy, with the first match in a two-game series coming this Sunday, Nov. 1 at 2:00 p.m. PT.

Chivas USA has qualified for the playoffs for the fourth consecutive season, and will face the LA Galaxy for the first time ever in the postseason. The first match between the two clubs comes on Sunday, Nov. 2 at 2:00 p.m. PT at The Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. Chivas USA midfielder Jesse Marsch has been one of the club's most important players since arriving at the team in 2006, and has served as the team's captain in most matches in 2009, playing 23 games (21 starts). The club's second all-time leader in games played, Marsch has played in every season since the league's inception in 1996, is a former MLS All-Star, and is a three-time winner of both the MLS Cup and the U.S. Open Cup. Before Sunday's regular season finale against the Houston Dynamo, Marsch was named Chivas USA's Humanitarian of the Year for his work in the community.
