Sounders FC Urge Fans To Show Their Spirit And Help Scarf The Sound

RENTON, Wash. - The Seattle Sounders FC encourage fans to demonstrate their spirit this week in support of the team's first playoff match against the Houston Dynamo on Thursday, October 29 at Qwest Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. (PT).

Fans can show their passion and support for the team by wearing Sounders FC attire or colors to work and school throughout the week.

The team will be staging 4,000 Sounders FC scarves in neighborhoods throughout Seattle for fans to "scarf" their homes, cars or workplaces. Oversize scarves will be displayed on area bridges, overpasses and a 3,000 square foot scarf being flown around the region on Tuesday and Wednesday.

Fans can download printable Sounders FC scarves or upload scarf photos at www.scarfseattle.com.

Each Conference Semifinal is a two-game, aggregate goal series with the higher seed hosting the second game of the two-game series. The second leg will be played on Sunday, November 8, at Houston's Robertson Stadium.
