Members of the media are invited to get a behind-the-scenes look at this unique photo opportunity, marking the first time a professional sports team has taken its official team photograph at Disneyland. Interested media should RSVP by emailing Chivas USA Communications Coordinator Edgar Pagaza at epagaza@cdchivasusa.com by 5:00 p.m. PT on Wednesday.

The photo will feature Chivas USA's entire 2006 roster, with all players in full uniform, plus the team's coaching staff and executives. Media availability will be provided following the photograph.

Chivas USA opens its second campaign in Major League Soccer this Sunday, April 2 at 4:00 p.m. PT at The Home Depot Center in Carson, California (TV: FSN WEST 2; Radio: KTNQ 1020 AM).

On hand for Thursday's photo op will be Chivas USA executives including president and co-owner Antonio Cué, Chivas USA's new head coach Bob Bradley, the winningest manager in Major League Soccer history, and Chivas USA stars including Southern California products Ante Razov and Estuardo Sánchez (Los Angeles), Jonathan Bornstein and Mike Muñoz (Los Alamitos), Antonio Martínez (Carson), Brent Whitfield (Long Beach), Sacha Kljestan (Huntington Beach), Matt Taylor (Irvine), Orlando Pérez (Fontana), Jesús Ochoa (Riverside) and Rodrigo López (Santa Barbara).

Also on hand will be Chivas USA's Mexican national team stars Juan Pablo García, Paco Palencia and Ramón Ramírez, as well as U.S. World Cup veteran Carlos Llamosa. Thursday will also mark the first opportunity for Southern California media availability with Chivas USA defender Claudio Suárez, following his game tonight with the Mexican national team against Paraguay in an international friendly in Chicago.

Off-site and off-the-wall photographs have become a Chivas hallmark in recent years. Last year, Chivas USA's first in MLS, the team took its official photograph in front of the façade of the Palacio de Gobierno de Jalisco at Plaza México outdoor mall in Lynwood, California. Sister team Chivas Guadalajara, Mexico's most popular soccer club, has taken its official photos in such unconventional locales as a cultural center, an airport, an outdoor market and the team's swimming pool.
