Chivas USA to Face San Jose Earthquakes in Sacramento Cup on June 12

CARSON, Calif. (Thursday, May 13, 2010) - Chivas USA will face the San Jose Earthquakes on Saturday, June 12 in the inaugural Sacramento Cup at Raley Field in West Sacramento. Kickoff for the match is scheduled for 7 p.m. PT.

Tickets for the match go on sale to the general public on Saturday, May 15 at 10 a.m. with ticket prices starting at just $25 up to $35. Fans can purchase tickets by visiting the Raley Field Ticket Office, raleyfield.com or ticketmaster.com.

San Jose and Chivas USA have played 10 times with the Red-and-White holding a 4-2-4 series lead, including a 3-2 win on April 24 at The Home Depot Center in Los Angeles.

The June 12 match marks the return of soccer to Raley Field, a ballpark that hosted international matches for three consecutive years 2006, 2007 and 2008, including a game between Preston North End (England) and Monterrey (Mexico).

Chivas USA visits the Columbus Crew this Saturday before returning to The Home Depot Center on Saturday, May 22 to face defending champion Real Salt Lake at 7:30 p.m. PT. A special edition Upper Deck player card pack will be presented to the first 5000 fans through the gates, and a Family Pack, starting at just $14 per person, is also available.
