
Chicago Fire Announce Best Buy as Presenting Sponsor of CSCIC and A.C. Milan Match

CHICAGO, IL (May 13, 2010) - The Chicago Fire Soccer Club announced today that Best Buy Co., Inc. (NYSE:BBY), the Fire's jersey sponsor since 2008, has been named the Presenting Sponsor of the Chicago Sister Cities International Cup taking place at TOYOTA PARK on Wednesday, May 19 and 22 as well as the club's international friendly at TOYOTA PARK against Italian giants A.C. Milan on Sunday May 30.
"These international matches will help showcase Chicago as a vibrant and exciting world-class city, while uniting some of our city's most passionate soccer fans to watch the best of the world's game in our own backyard," said Fire President Dave Greeley. "We're grateful that Best Buy will serve as the presenting sponsor of the inaugural Chicago Sister Cities International Cup and A.C. Milan match, and we're collectively proud to serve our multi-cultural community with such first-rate sporting entertainment, which will help to continue growing the Beautiful Game here in Chicago."

Under the terms of the partnership, Best Buy, who operates more than 50 stores in the Chicagoland area, will receive integrated team assets including Best Buy logo placement on all printed media, television and radio advertising, field level LED and mezzanine signage, website presence, in-market and in-game activations.
The Chicago Sister Cities International Cup presented by Best Buy features the Fire, Paris Saint-Germain, Legia Warsaw and Red Star Belgrade. The inaugural two-day international tournament at TOYOTA PARK kicks off on Wednesday, May 19 at 7:00 PM CT with the Fire taking on Paris Saint-Germain and Legia Warsaw playing Red Star Belgrade immediately after. On Saturday, May 22 the two losing teams will play the Consolation match at 6:00 PM CT with the Championship match to take place immediately following the Consolation match.
The Chicago Fire will welcome seven-time European Champions A.C. Milan to TOYOTA PARK on Sunday, May 30 at 7:30 PM CT. Ronaldinho, the former FIFA World Player of the Year (2004, 2005), Brazilian forward Alexandre Pato and Holland's Clarence Seedorf are scheduled to appear when the Fire challenge the storied Italian club.
