
Chisholm Tops Among Four Petes Players and Prospects Listed on NHL Central Scouting Final Rankings

(Peterborough, ON) - The NHL Central Scouting Service has released its final rankings ahead of the 2018 NHL Entry Draft. Three Petes players, including Declan Chisholm, Pavel Gogolev, and Semyon Der-Arguchintsev were named to the list, along with prospect Logan Hutsko.
Chisholm finished the season with a ranking of 52nd among North American Skaters. The 6'1", 185lbs defenceman from Bowmanville quadrupled his offensive output this season, recording 3 goals, 17 assists, and 20 points in 47 games played.
Gogolev earned a ranking of 79th after a breakout sophomore season. The 6'1", 175lbs right winger accumulated 30 goals, 17 assists, and 47 points in 66 games during the 2017-18 campaign.
Der-Arguchintsev received a ranking of 82nd as one of two Petes to play in all 68 games this season. The 5'10", 159lbs playmaking centre registered 12 goals, 39 assists, and 51 points.
Also ranked was Petes prospect Logan Hutsko (Boston College, NCAA - 66th). Hutsko was selected by the Petes in the sixth round, 117th overall in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection. He was also eligible for the 2017 NHL Entry Draft, but went undrafted.
The 2018 NHL Entry Draft takes place in Dallas, Texas on June 22-23 at the American Airlines Centre. Peterborough's 2017-18 roster featured six players selected in previous NHL Entry Drafts, including Nikita Korostelev (Toronto), Chris Paquette (Tampa Bay), Dylan Wells (Edmonton), Austin Osmanski (Buffalo), Zach Gallant (Detroit), and Cole Fraser (Detroit).
