The El Paso Chihuahuas scored six runs in the second inning on way to a 10-4 win over the Reno Aces Thursday night at Southwest University Park. After three scattered runs by the Aces, the Chihuahuas struck for four more in the fifth. The inning featured a two-out, two-run single by Austin Hedges one batter after Reno intentionally walked Brett Wallace to load the bases. Goebbert and Mike McCoy added RBI singles later in the inning.

Chihuahuas' starter Robbie Erlin picked up his first win of the season after going five innings, allowing three runs on eight hits while striking out seven. The Chihuahuas' pitching staff struck out 13 Aces Thursday after striking out 12 Aces Wednesday.
