Chien-Ming Wang Joins the Senators on a Rehab Assignment

The Harrisburg Senators announced that RH Chien-Ming Wang is joining the Harrisburg Senators on a rehab assignment and is expected to start tonight for the Senators. Wang has previously pitched in a game for the Senators this season, and two last season, all on rehab appearances. He is 2-3 with a 7.61 ERA in seven games with the Nationals this year. Formerly he was a member of the New York Yankees and on two occasions won 19 games for the Yankees. He was second in the 2006 American League Cy Young Award Voting.

In addition, RH Kevin Pucetas has been activated from the disabled list.

The Senators roster now stands at 25 active with 4 players on the disabled list and 1 on MLB rehab.
