
Chiefs Reassign Four Players

Spokane Chiefs News Release
The Spokane Chiefs have reassigned four players in advance of their first pre-season action this weekend. Defensemen Boomer Rooney ('94) and Cole Wedman ('94) have both been assigned to AAA Midget in the Alberta Junior Hockey League, Jordan Swenson ('93) has been assigned to AAA Midget in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League and left wing Josh McEwan has been assigned to Junior A in Trail, BC.
Spokane will travel to Everett for the Silvertips Pre-Season Classic carrying 31 players; four goaltenders, nine defenseman and 18 forwards. By age, the Chiefs have three 20-year-olds, six 19-year-olds, 10 18-year-olds, nine 17-year-olds, two 16-year-olds and one 15-year-old.
Spokane will travel to Everett on Friday for their 3:00 date with the Tri-City Americans. Saturday the Chiefs will play Seattle and Sunday they will take on Portland. Both Saturday and Sunday will begin at 11:30 am.
