
Chiefs Promotional Schedule Announced

SYRACUSE (NY) - The Syracuse Chiefs are pleased to announce their 2007 Promotional Schedule. The Chiefs promotional schedule is highlighted by five fireworks nights, beginning on Friday June 29th. Other fireworks nights include Friday July 13th, Saturday July 28th, Friday August 10th and Thursday August 30th.
Once again this season every Monday home game will be a Church Bulletin Night, fans that show a program from their place of worship for a free level 300 ticket. At all Thursday home games fans can save $1 off any ticket by showing their Price Chopper AdvantEDGE card. For Sunday home games, all kids 12 and under can sign up for the Chiefs' Knot Hole Gang and receive a free hot dog compliments of Hofmann and free beverage compliments of Coca-Cola.
"Our staff has worked hard all off-season putting together a tremendous promotional schedule for our fans and our corporate partners make these promotions possible," said Chiefs General Manger John Simone. PROMOTIONAL HIGHLIGHTS
The Chiefs open the season at home Saturday April 14th and the first 5,000 fans will receive a free schedule magnet compliments of Alliance Bank. Before the action begins on the field the parking lot will be the place to be as kids will be able to enjoy an inflatable moonwalk beginning at 10:30 and fans of all ages will be entertained by local performing artists The FabCats from noon until 2:00 PM.
The May 2nd game originally scheduled for 7:00 PM has been moved to 11:00 AM and will be Education Day. Administrators and teachers of children in grades K-8 can contact the Chiefs offices for free tickets to the game. May 2nd will also be one of two dollar days scheduled with parking, tickets, scorecards, soda and popcorn available for just a dollar. The other Dollar Day scheduled is for Monday, May 21st.
Friday June 1st, America's strongest man STEVE MacDONALD, will appear at Alliance Bank Stadium to throw out the ceremonial first pitch and sign autographs.
Sunday July 15th, the first 2,000 kids 12 and under will receive a free CHAD MOTTOLA figurine compliments of Time Warner Cable.
Saturday July 28th will be the 2nd Annual Soap Opera Saturday. DAVID FUMERO, who plays Cristian Vega on One Life To Live, will be this year's Soap star.
The "Oreos and Milk Jingle" Tour will appear at Alliance Bank Stadium on Tuesday, July 31st and Wednesday, August 1st. OREO will be handing out product samples pre and post-game, auditioning fans for the National OREO jingle contest and OREO Man and Milk Man will be on hand to meet and greet fans.
The NEXTEL NASCAR Racing Experience will be at Alliance Bank Stadium on Tuesday, August 7th. The Racing Experience will feature NASCAR simulators with the paint schemes of the cars driven by popular drivers Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Tony Stewart.
The Syracuse Baseball Wall of Fame Class of 2007 inductions, presented by Time Warner Cable, will take place before the Chiefs game on Saturday, April 11th. This year's inductees will be JOHN HENRY "DUTCH" DOTTERER JR., RON GUIDRY, FRED McGRIFF, DICK ROCKWELL, GEORGE "SPECS" TOPORCER and OTTO VELEZ.
Friday, August 24th will be Peter Pan/P&C Cap Night and the Chiefs will also hold the 3rd Annual Scout Sleepover.
Tickets for all home games go on sale tomorrow, Saturday April 7th, at 10:00 AM. Tickets can be purchased at the Alliance Bank Stadium Ticket Office, by calling the Chiefs office at 315-474-7833 during regular business hours and online at www.syracusechiefs.com.
