
Chiefs Play Vancouver in 2nd Round

The Spokane Chiefs will host games one and two of the second round of the playoffs versus the Vancouver Giants on Friday, April 4th and Sunday, April 6th. Tickets are currently on sale at the Chiefs office at (509) 535-PUCK or TicketsWest at (800) 325-SEAT.
Vancouver will host games three, four and, if necessary, five on Wednesday, April 9th, Friday, April 11th and Saturday, April 12th, respectively.
Potential games six and seven will return to Spokane on Monday, April 14th and Tuesday, April 15th.
WHL second round series are seeded on regular season points and Spokane will have home ice advantage after they finished with 107, one more than Vancouver. The Giants had a higher seed in the first round after they won the B.C. Division.
Spokane was 1-0-0-1 on the year versus Vancouver. Their win was a 2-0 decision on October 21st on the road as Chris Bruton and Judd Blackwater scored goals and Kevin Armstrong stopped 18 shots for the shutout. The Giants earned a 2-1 shootout victory on November 3rd in Spokane.
The Chiefs advanced to the second round after completing a 4-0 sweep of the Everett Silvertips on Friday night. Vancouver had a 4-0 first round victory over the Chilliwack Bruins.
Game one on Friday will be at 7:00 with Sunday's game two beginning at 6:00.
Each game can be heard live on 1510 KGA with the voice of the Chiefs Mike Boyle. Comcast Hockey Tonight will begin a half-an-hour earlier.
