Johnstown Chiefs News Release

JOHNSTOWN, Pa. - The Johnstown Chiefs, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Colorado Avalanche and Columbus Blue Jackets, and the AHL's Lake Erie Monsters and Syracuse Crunch, announced today that goaltender Sebastian Dahm was reassigned to them by Columbus. Also, in a separate transaction, Jarrett Konkle has been loaned to the Binghamton Senators.

The 22-year-old Dahm has spent the majority of his rookie season with Syracuse where he has compiled a 10-11-0 record in 24 games. He has a solid goals-against average of 2.66 and his save percentage is at .914. The Copenhagen, Denmark native appeared in one game for Johnstown this season on October 25 against Reading, and backstopped the Chiefs to a 6-4 win with 19 saves. It was Dahm's first professional win. Dahm spent his final season in the OHL last season between Sudbury and Niagara and had a combined record of 28-25-3.

Konkle has skated in 27 games for Johnstown this season after beginning the year with the Fresno Falcons. Konkle became a free agent when Fresno folded on December 22 and subsequently signed with Johnstown. Konkle has produced 14 goals and 28 points for Johnstown since coming east. The Toronto native is in his fifth season of professional hockey. His career has included stops in Elmira (UHL), South Carolina (ECHL), and Fresno. Konkle will be making his AHL debut when he joins Binghamton.
