Peoria, IL - The Wednesday night series finale between the Peoria Chiefs and Burlington Bees has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up in Burlington when the Chiefs travel there for the first time this season May 28-30. The Bees do not return to Peoria in the first half of the season.
Fans who had tickets for tonight's game may exchange them for a same price ticket at the Peoria Chiefs Box Office for any regular season 2013 Chiefs home game.
The Chiefs remain home for three games against the Cedar Rapids Kernels starting Thursday night at 6:30. Thursday is a Thirsty Thursday with $1.00 12 ounce domestic draft beers and fountain sodas. The Chiefs are expected to start RH Hector Hernandez (0-1, 4.50) against a yet to be announced Cedar Rapids hurler.
