Burlington Bees News Release

Tonight's game between the Burlington Bees (6-6) and Peoria Chiefs (5-6) has been postponed due to rain. The game will be made up during the May 28-May 30 series in Burlington.

Heavy rain in the Midwest caused numerous games to be postponed throughout the Midwest League and the Bees-Chiefs game is one of those that has been affected by heavy storms.

Burlington and Peoria split the first two games of the series. The game will be made up during the May 28-May 30 series in Burlington.

This marks the third Bees game that has been postponed due to weather. The Bees will have another doubleheader at the end of the first half when they travel to Quad Cities. That game was postponed on April 10.

The Bees will now return home for a six-game homestand, which begins on Thursday against the Beloit Snappers and will continue on Sunday against the Cedar Rapids Kernels.
