Washington Nationals LHP Matt Chico joins the Senators today as he continues his MLB Rehab. Chico previously pitched in three games with Hagerstown, going a total of 11 innings. He is expected to make the start tonight for the Senators against the Erie SeaWolves.
Chico had reconstructive left-elbow surgery performed by Dr. James Andrews on 7/3/2008. He previously pitched for the Senators in August 2006 after the Nationals acquired both Chico and Garrett Mock from the Arizona Diamondbacks for RHP Livan Hernandez. Chico was 2-0 in four starts with the Senators in 2006.
