CHICAGO - The WNBA Chicago Sky (8-17) continues practice this week, while in the midst of the league-wide Olympic hiatus. Sky Center Sylvia Fowles gets ready for the medal round quarterfinals in Beijing, where the USA Women's Olympic Basketball (5-0) team vies for their fourth consecutive Olympic gold.

OLYMPICS WATCH - SYLVIA FOWLES

Team USA vs. Mali - Wednesday, August 13 The 2008 U.S. Women's Olympic Team needed just 10 minutes to build a double-digit lead and went on to secure a 97-41 win against overmatched Mali at the Wukesong Arena. Sylvia Fowles had eight points and six rebounds off the bench in just 14 minutes of play.

Team USA vs. Spain - Friday, August 15, 2008 Sylvia Fowles scored 10 points and added four rebounds in Team USA's 93-55 win over Spain. In the game's final 20 minutes, the USA allowed Spain just six made field goals in 21 attempts, while the American offense outscored Spain 54-21. With their fourth victory, Team USA secured their spot in the quarterfinals.

Team USA vs. New Zealand - Sunday, August 17, 2008 In its final preliminary round game, the 2008 U.S. Women's Olympic Team had strong performance with a 96-60 win over New Zealand as they head into the medal round quarterfinals. Sylvia Fowles contributed eight points and six rebounds in 20 minutes of play.
