CHICAGO - The WNBA Chicago Sky (1-3) will host one of the most highly-anticipated match-ups of the 2008 season on Tuesday, June 3 at 7 p.m. at UIC Pavilion, when the Sky takes on the Los Angeles Sparks (3-1). This will be the only regular season game against the Sparks in Chicago, and the only chance for local fans to see Naperville native Candace Parker in live WNBA action.

Later in the week, the Sky will play back-to-back matches against the Atlanta Dream (0-4), the new WNBA expansion team. The Sky will travel to Atlanta for the first at the Philips Arena on Friday, June 6 at 6:30 p.m. The following night, Saturday, June 7, the Sky will host a second game against Atlanta, this time at UIC Pavilion at 7 p.m.

The Sky has lost its last two home games in the final seconds by a total of 8 points. On Thursday, May 29, the Sky lost to the Minnesota Lynx (5-0), 75-69, with the Sky coming within two points of the Lynx with two minutes left in the game. Sky rookie Sylvia Fowles earned her first WNBA double- double with a team-high 16 points and a game-high 11 rebounds. On Sunday, June 1 the Sky fell to the Connecticut Sun (5-1) in another close game. Jia Perkins scored a game-high 21 points but missed a potential game-tying jumper with two seconds left. Sylvia Fowles added 17 points and 12 rebounds, for her second consecutive double-double.
