
Chicago Sky Tip off 2015 Season on June 5 in Home Opener at Allstate Arena

CHICAGO - Returning the WNBA's youngest roster, the Sky begins the 34-game regular season with a rematch of the last year's Eastern Conference Finals and an unveiling of the Sky's 2014 Eastern Conference Championship banner at Allstate Arena. Led by fifth-year Head Coach Pokey Chatman, two-time WNBA All-Star Elena Delle Donne and the WNBA's reigning Sixth Woman of the Year, Allie Quigley, the Sky enters their tenth WNBA season following an unprecedented run to the 2014 WNBA Finals.
The 2015 schedule features a prime-time matchup against the Minnesota Lynx, led by the WNBA's 2014 Most Valuable Player Maya Moore, on Friday, July 10. Tip off is set for 7:30pm CT at Allstate Arena. Other highlights include visits from Shoni "Showtime" Schimmel and the Atlanta Dream on July 21 and Naperville Central High School graduate Candace Parker of the Los Angeles Sparks on July 31. The most-anticipated game of the season will feature a rematch of the 2014 WNBA Finals when Brittney Griner and the Phoenix Mercury visit Chicago on Sunday, August 9. This nationally broadcast game will tip off at 12pm CT on ESPN2.
Throughout the 2015 regular season, the Sky will host two Camp Days to welcome Chicago area youth to Allstate Arena to cheer on their hometown team. The Sky's first camp day will take place June 24 against Atlanta with the second camp day game slated for July 15 against Washington. The Sky will close out the regular season at home with "Fan Appreciation Night" as they play host to Skylar Diggins and the Tulsa Shock on Friday, September 11.
With the 5th overall pick in 2015 WNBA Draft presented by State Farm, Coach Chatman will have the opportunity to add one of the top talents from this year's draft class to her roster prior to the start of the season. The draft will be held on Thursday, April 16.
