Chicago Sky Signs Robyn Parks, Feyonda Fitzgerald to Training Camp Contracts

CHICAGO - The Chicago Sky announced today the team has signed forward Robyn Parks and guard Feyonda Fitzgerald to training camp contracts.

After going undrafted out of Virginia Commonwealth University in 2014, Parks has since played professionally overseas with various organizations. She is currently playing with Italian club Magnolia La Molisana Campobasso, where she is leading the team with 19.8 points and 7.6 rebounds in 32.8 minutes per game this season.

Parks has also played overseas with Spanish teams Gran Canaria (2014-15), Campus Promete Logrono (2016-17), Snatt's Femeni Sant Adria (2018-19) and Casademont Zaragoza (2020-21). She played two years in Angola with GD Inter-Clube de Luanda (2017-18, 2019-20), and part of 2022 with Libertadores de Queretaro in Mexico, where she earned All-Mexican LNBPF First-Team honors.

The Waldorf, Maryland native played four seasons with the VCU Rams from 2010-14 and was named All-Atlantic 10 Second Team (2013), All-Atlantic 10 First Team (2014) and Atlantic 10 All-Defensive Team (2014).

Fitzgerald was originally selected by Indiana in the second round (No. 20 overall) of the 2017 WNBA Draft. She currently plays overseas with Antalya 07 in Turkey, where she leads her team in scoring with 23.1 points, adding 4.8 assists and 3.7 rebounds in 36.8 minutes of play.

Hailing from Norfolk, Virginia, Fitzgerald played four seasons at Temple, where she broke Temple's career (635) and single-season (232) records for assists. She finished her college career as the second-leading scorer in Owls history with 1,824 points at the time of her graduation.

Parks and Fitzgerald are part of the new additions to the Chicago Sky roster for 2023. Earlier this week, the team announced signings with Elizabeth Williams, Courtney Williams and Isabelle Harrison.
