Washington Mystics News Release

Washington, D.C. - The Washington Mystics announced today that they have acquired the negotiating rights to center Amanda Zahui B from the Las Vegas Aces in exchange for Washington's second round pick in the 2024 and 2025 WNBA draft.

"This is a trade that adds a very versatile player to our roster," said General Manager Mike Thibault. "Amanda can play inside and on the perimeter, a skill set that we value highly in our post players. With her length and athleticism, we are looking forward to her having a significant impact on both ends of the floor. We hope to have a contract done in the near future and will be thrilled to have her in a Mystics uniform!"

The Mystics own the 4th, 20th, and 32nd overall picks for the 2023 WNBA draft.

The Washington Mystics tip off the 2023 season at home on Friday, May 19 versus the New York Liberty at 7:00 p.m. For information on Mystics Club 52 full season memberships, presented by Ticketmaster, and to secure your seats for the upcoming season, please visit www.washingtonmystics.com.
