CHICAGO, Ill. - The Chicago Red Stars played Racing Louisville FC to a draw and walked away with one point in a Wednesday night Challenge Cup match.
KEY MOMENTS:
'11 an interception from McManus and a good pass from DiBernardo creates a chance for Pugh whose shot rattles off the right post.
'38 a ball from Pugh gives Cook a chance to face up the Louisville keeper, but the shot goes just wide left
'45 a shot from Louisville rattles the cross bar, is rebounded by Louisville but the shot goes just right of the net
'46 Howell goes one-on-one with Naeher who punches away the attempted chip shot GAME NOTES:
Ava Cook, Sarah Griffith and Mikenna McManus made their first starts of their professional careers and first Challenge Cup starts. This was McManus' first appearance for the Red Stars this season.
