
Denise O'sullivan Named to Ireland National Team Roster

CARY, NC - The North Carolina Courage announced today that Denise O'Sullivan has been called to represent the Republic of Ireland during the April FIFA window. The midfielder will be available for the FIFA Women's World Cup UEFA qualifiers against Sweden on April 12 at 12:30 p.m. ET.
On the international stage, O'Sullivan has scored 18 goals for Ireland, having represented her country since 2010 and clocking 4,878 minutes of playing time. In 2015, the Cork, Ireland native was named the FAI Senior International Player of the Year. Later, in November 2019, O'Sullivan was named The Irish Times/Sport Ireland's Sportswoman of the Month. Most recently, the midfielder represented her country in the Pinatar Cup in matches against Wales, Russia, and Poland, in which the squad registered a 2-0-1 record.
O'Sullivan will depart following the Courage's next match against NJ/NY Gotham FC on Sunday, April 3 at 3:00 p.m. ET. The match will air live on Paramount+.
