Chicago Fire Host New York Red Bulls at Toyota Park Sunday Evening

MEN IN RED CONCLUDE FOUR-MATCH HOMESTAND AGAINST NEW YORK RED BULLS

The Chicago Fire (3-5-13, 22 points) host the New York Red Bulls (6-6-10, 28 points) at Toyota Park on Sunday, Aug. 10 at 7 p.m. CT (Univision Deportes/My50/TWCSC Wisconsin/La Ley 107.9 FM). Tickets for the match are available via www.Chicago-Fire.com and Ticketmaster.

This is the third and final meeting between the two sides this season. The Fire and Red Bulls played to a 1-1 draw on Opening Day at Toyota Park on March 23. The Men in Red earned their first win of the season with a 5-4 victory at Red Bull Arena on May 10.

The Red Bulls enter the match after a 2-1 win over the New England Revolution on Saturday evening.

CHICAGO FIRE vs. NEW YORK RED BULLS

- The Fire hold a 24-13-10 all-time regular season record against the Red Bulls.

- In matches played at home, the Men in Red are 13-3-7.

- The last time the Fire lost a regular season match against the Red Bulls in the Chicagoland area was May 14, 2005.

- Fire forward Mike Magee was the fourth overall selection in the 2003 MLS SuperDraft by the then New York/New Jersey MetroStars after a two-year stay at the U.S. Soccer Residency program in Bradenton, Fla. Magee made his professional debut and became the youngest player in New York history at the time at 18 years, 222 days on April 12, 2003 vs. the Columbus Crew. Over six seasons with the New York side, Magee made 130 regular season appearances and scored 23 goal and notched 13 assists.

- Fire assistant coach Clint Mathis joined the MetroStars in a trade from the LA Galaxy on May 11, 2000. That season, Mathis scored 13 goals and added 13 assists in 21 regular season matches. On Aug. 26, he set the MLS record that still stands today after scoring five goals in a 6-4 win over the Dallas Burn.

- In 2000, Mathis was named a MLS All-Star, a member of the MLS Best XI and was named a finalist for the MLS MVP award. Mathis added three goals and two assists in five playoff matches for the MetroStars before they fell to the Fire in the Eastern Conference Championships.

- In the subsequent three seasons with the MetroStars, Mathis appeared in 46 games, scored 20 goals and added eight assists before signing with German Bundesliga side Hannover 96 in advance of the 2004 season.

FIRE HOMGROWN MIDFIELDERS CHRIS RITTER AND HARRY SHIPP SELECTED FOR INAUGURAL CHIPOTLE MLS HOMEGROWN GAME

Homegrown rookie midfielders Harry Shipp and Chris Ritter are set to participate in the inaugural Chipotle MLS Homegrown Game against the Portland Timbers U-23s at Providence Park, as part of the festivities leading up to the 2014 AT&T MLS All-Star Game.

The game will kick off at 9 p.m. CT on Monday, August 4 and will be streamed live on WatchESPN and MLSsoccer.com.

BENJI JOYA AND VICTOR PINEDA TO TRAIN WITH U.S. U-23 MEN'S NATIONAL TEAM AUG. 3-7

Fire midfielders Benji Joya and Victor Pineda were named to the 18-man roster for the U.S. Under-23 Men's National Team's training camp in Nassau, Bahamas from Aug. 3-7.

Following three days of training, the U.S. will face the Bahamas Senior National Team on Wednesday, Aug. 6 at the Thompson A. Robinson National Stadium.

This camp is part of the USA's continuing effort to focus early on the qualification process for the 2016 Summer Olympics taking place in Rio de Janeiro. In April, Joya and Pineda took part in the initial U-21 MNT camp at the National Training Center in Carson, Calif. Joya scored both goals in the USA's 2-1 victory against Club Tijuana on April 23.

CHICAGO FIRE SOCCER CLUB TO HOST FOURTH ANNUAL WHITE PARTY

The Chicago Fire Soccer Club is set to host the Fourth Annual White Party at the MCA Warehouse (1747 West Hubbard Street, Chicago, Ill.) on Thursday, August 7 from 7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. CT.

The White Party features guests in their most stylish white attire enjoying a premium open bar, food from various Chicagoland restaurants, a live DJ and more. The event also allows guests the opportunity to mingle with Fire players, coaches and staff members in a fun, unique setting.

A sell-out for the past two consecutive years, the White Party is the Chicago Fire Foundation's most prolific event. In 2013, tickets to the party sold out in record time as the event drew more than 700 guests and raised more than $50,000.

Tickets to the White Party begin at $60 for general admission. VIP tickets to the event are sold out. All proceeds from the event will support the Chicago Fire Foundation's community efforts.
