CHICAGO - Chicago Fire FC (0-3-1, 1 point) fell 2-0 to Philadelphia Union (1-2-1, 4 points) at Soldier Field on Saturday afternoon.
The match saw the Fire dominate possession (60%/40%), passing accuracy (76%/64%), duels won (81/58) and total passes (481/319). Fire goalkeeper Bobby Shuttleworth made a number of crucial saves including one from in-close in the 14th minute (WATCH). The teams headed into halftime scoreless. Philadelphia received second half goals from striker Corey Burke (51') and defender Jakob Glesnes (60').
NEXT GAME: Chicago Fire FC will travel to face D.C. United on Thursday, May 13 at Audi Field. The match will begin at 7:00 p.m. CT and will be broadcast live on WGN-TV and CFFC Live / ChicagoFireFC.com. The match will also be transmitted locally in Spanish on WOJO 105.1FM HD-3.

NOTES:
The Fire welcomed soldiers from the U.S. Army's storied 101st Airborne Division to Soldier Field this afternoon. The Division is in Chicago in support of FEMA and the federal vaccination efforts taking place at the United Center.
Fire defender Boris Sekulic was named Heineken Man of the Match.
Defender Wyatt Omsberg and forward Elliot Collier both received their first start this season.
