
Chicago Fire FC Acquires $50,000 in General Allocation Money from Seattle Sounders FC

CHICAGO - Chicago Fire FC today announced that the Club has acquired $50,000 in 2021 General Allocation Money (GAM) from Seattle Sounders FC. In exchange, Sounders FC will receive the No. 1 spot in the MLS Waiver Order.
The Waiver Order is determined by points per game in the current standings after all teams have played at least three regular season games. The Waiver process will conclude on Monday, May 24.
Chicago Fire FC will return to Soldier Field to begin a two-game homestand on Saturday, May 22, taking on second-year club Inter Miami CF in a nationally-televised contest. Beginning at 5:00 p.m. CT, the match will be broadcast live on UniMás, TUDN, Twitter (English audio) and WOJO 105.1FM HD-3.
