With tonight's start of the much-anticipated Copa America Centenario, Chicago-Fire.com has been taking a look at former Chicago Fire players who have been fortunate enough to compete in one of the previous 44 Copa America tournaments.
Our fourth installment highlights the second-most capped man in Mexico history, Pavel Pardo. Pardo took part in three separate Copa America tournaments with El Tri and featured in the Fire midfield in 2011-12. Check out the highlights of Pardo's Copa appearances in the Instagram video below.
Make plans to attend the Chicago Fire's Copa America kickoff watch party TONIGHT at The PrivateBank Fire Pitch when the U.S Men's National Team faces Colombia. The party starts at 7 p.m. with kickoff slated for 8:30 p.m.
