
Chicago Fire and MLS Name Six Prospects to Represent the Club at the Sueno MLS 2015 Finals

CHICAGO (May 18, 2015) - Major League Soccer and the Chicago Fire announced today the names of five talented young field players and one El Portero Allstate finalist who will represent the club at the National Final of Sueño MLS 2015- Presented by Allstate Insurance Company. They will be joined by the six finalists selected May 3 at the Orlando City SC trials and the six finalists selected at the LA Galaxy trials on May 10. The final roster of 15 talented young field players and three goalkeepers will compete at the National Finals of Sueño MLS 2015- Presented by Allstate Insurance Company in Carson, Calif., between May 26-31.
The nationally-televised player search is showcased on Univision Deportes' República Deportiva, the popular weekly sports entertainment program that chronicles the tryouts in a "reality show within a show" format.
This year the finalists will be coached and mentored by the Sueno MLS Ambassadors, former Fire midfielder and Mexican international Pavel Pardo and Eric Wynalda, former MLS and United States National Team player.

NOTES:
Now in its ninth year, Sueño MLS 2015 - Presented by Allstate Insurance Company is staged by three Major League Soccer teams, including first-time host Orlando City SC, as well as returning hosts Chicago Fire and LA Galaxy. Up to 400 tryout spots are made available in each city on a first come, first serve basis. In past years, spots have filled up after only a few hours following the start of registration. A waiting list is made available once all spots have been filled.
In addition, the Allstate "Good Hands®" top goalkeeper award, El Portero Allstate, will be presented for the fifth consecutive year. One goalkeeper at each of the three local tryouts is selected as a local goalkeeper finalist and competes in the National Finals for the opportunity to be named El Portero Allstate. El Portero Allstate will be selected in conjunction with the winner of Sueño MLS 2015 - Presented by Allstate Insurance Company, and will be mentored by Mexican goalkeeping legend Martin "El Pulpo" Zuñiga.
Both winners will be invited to join a youth-level team at the MLS club represented at the national finals.
