
Checkers Release Broadcast Schedule

Charlotte Checkers News Release
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Charlotte Checkers today announced their broadcast schedule for the 2014-15 season, which will again feature select home games on Time Warner Cable SportsChannel. A total of 10 games can be seen on high definition channel 323 throughout North and South Carolina, beginning with the team's home opener on Friday, Oct. 17, at 7 p.m. A full schedule can be found below.
Additionally, ESPN 730 will continue to provide a live audio stream of every Checkers game, home and road, that can be accessed via a link on the Checkers' website, by searching for Charlotte Checkers on the TuneIn radio app, or by using the "listen live" link on the Charlotte Checkers' official app to be released in the coming days.
All Charlotte Checkers games can also be viewed online via AHL Live, a pay-per-view service where fans can either purchase a season pass or buy games on an individual basis. All broadcasts will include a 15-minute pre-game show prior to puck drop with the "Voice of the Checkers," Jason Shaya.
The Checkers begin their season on the road this Friday, Oct. 10, with a three-games-in-three-nights set that begins in Milwaukee and continues with games in Chicago on Oct. 11 and 12. Individual tickets for Opening Weekend, presented by Wells Fargo, starting Oct. 17 are available now, as are season tickets, mini plans, flex packs and group tickets.
