(Moosic, PA) - The Charlotte Knights were leading the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders 6-3 on Monday when rain intensified and the game was delayed. After a 51-minute rain delay, the game was officially suspended in the bottom of the fourth inning with one out and the Knights ahead by three runs. The two teams will now resume Monday's game on Tuesday at 5:35 p.m. and the game will be played until completion. After a short break, the two teams will play the originally scheduled game, which will now be seven innings in length.

Daniel McCutchen started for the Knights and allowed three runs on six hits over 3.1 innings pitched. He gave up all three runs in the bottom of the first inning, which gave the RailRiders an early 3-0 lead.

The Knights were looking for their second consecutive win and put up five runs in the second inning with help from Andy Wilkins, who hit a three-run home run -- his 15th of the season. One inning later, catcher Josh Phegley ripped his 13th of the season.
