
Charlotte Independence Sign 5 Year Partnership Deal with Pepsi Bottling Ventures

CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The Charlotte Independence announced today a strategic partnership with Pepsi Bottling Ventures, the largest privately-held bottler for Pepsi-Cola products in North America. Pepsi Bottling Ventures will be the exclusive, non-alcoholic beverage partner for the Charlotte Independence for the next five years providing products such as carbonated soft drinks, water, sports drinks, energy drinks, protein drinks and juice-based drinks.
"Pepsi Cola products offer refreshment, hydration and/or nutrition. Whether it's Gatorade, Muscle Milk, or Aquafina, Pepsi Bottling Ventures has what we need to keep our team well-hydrated," stated Tim Schuldt, Charlotte Independence President & COO. "In addition, our fans can look forward to an ice cold Pepsi or Mountain Dew and a host of other choices while they enjoy all the games and events in this fantastic venue."
Pepsi Bottling Ventures will receive branding opportunities throughout the season including in-stadium assets, in-broadcast assets, consumer promotion rights and hospitality options to host key customers at Charlotte Independence games.
At the new American Legion Memorial Stadium, Pepsi Bottling Ventures will fit the facility with the necessary equipment to offer its leading beverages for all the events at the newly rebuilt venue. Fans can expect to see the Pepsi Bottling Ventures brands showcased throughout the beautiful, new facility.
