Charlotte FC Forward Kamil Jóźwiak Named to MLS Team of the Matchday

CHARLOTTE, NC - Charlotte FC forward Kamil Jozwiak earned a spot on the MLS Team of the Matchday after his second half goal and assist at Toronto FC rallied the team to a come-from-behind draw.

Charlotte FC battled an intense first half headwind in Toronto, conceding two goals from corner kicks and entering the locker room facing a 2-0 deficit. However, just five minutes into the second half, Jozwiak latched onto a through ball from Jaylin Lindsey and found the late-arriving Ben Bender to halve the deficit. The Polish winger then scored the equalizer later in the half, cutting in front of his defender to finish a pinpoint Kerwin Vargas cross.

Next up, Charlotte FC heads to Utah for a cross-conference matchup with Real Salt Lake on Saturday, April 8 at 9:30 p.m. ET. The match will be broadcast on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV, featured as a free-to-watch game.
