B.C. Lions News Release
(Vancouver) The BC Lions Football Club today announced the following transactions:
Add to practice roster: DL Charles Wright (A)
Release from roster: DL Meffy Koloamatangi (A)
Wright (6'4", 240) saw action in 41 games over four years at Vanderbilt. Versatile and athletic, the California native racked-up 36 solo stops from his outside linebacker position along with nine career sacks. While injuries limited him to six games as a senior last year, his junior season in 2017 was his most productive as he tallied 18 tackles, eight sacks and five tackles for a loss. The lofty numbers that year earned him a second-team All-SEC selection.
The next BC Lions home game is Saturday, July 27 versus the Saskatchewan Roughriders presented by The Brick.
