WASHINGTON, DC - The Cleveland Charge (2-14) of the NBA G League, presented by Cleveland Clinic, fell to the Capital City Go-Go (12-6), 112-111, at the Entertainment & Sports Arena on Friday night.
Cleveland was led by Justin James scoring 33 points on 11-of-23 shooting with eight rebounds and five assists in 41 minutes. Tacko Fall posted his 7th double-double of the year, scoring 10 points and grabbing 17 rebounds in 31 minutes. Norvel Pelle scored a season-high 17 points and grabbed seven boards in 27 minutes. In his Charge debut, Cam Young scored 21 points on 8-of-16 from the field and grabbed five boards in 32 minutes off the bench. Dylan Windler added eight points, seven rebounds, five assists and three steals in 39 minutes on assignment from the Cavaliers.
Jordan Goodwin paced the Go-Go with 23 points, nine rebounds, five assists and four steals. Jaime Echenique scored 10 points, grabbed nine rebounds, swatted two blocks and nabbed two steals in 31 minutes. Jordan Schakel added 17 points and a pair of steals in 33 minutes. Capital City only surrendered 10 turnovers for eight points, while Cleveland had 22 turnovers that resulted in 32 points.
