Cleveland Charge News Release
CLEVELAND, OH - The Cleveland Charge (11-13) defeated the Windy City Bulls (10-13), 116-102, in front of 3,163 fans and 65 canines at Hoops n Hounds at the Wolstein Center on Sunday afternoon.
Dexter Dennis got his first Charge start and scored 23 points on 8-of-10 shooting with 10 rebounds in 35 minutes. Emoni Bates scored 21 points with eight boards and four assists in 33 minutes. Sharife Cooper scored 19 with four assists and two steals in 30 minutes. Zhaire Smith added 16 points, five rebounds and three steals in 33 minutes. Devontae Shuler came off the bench to score 15 in 18 minutes for Cleveland.
Windy City was paced by Adama Sanogo's 23 points on 10-of-19 from the field with 14 boards in 22 minutes. Henri Drell scored 20 points and nabbed seven rebounds in 34 minutes. Quenton Jackson scored 19 points and grabbed nine rebounds with five assists in 34 minutes for the Bulls. Cleveland holds a 2-1 edge in the season series as the two teams will meet again on March 27.
The Charge will honor two sons of Cleveland Heights, Jason & Travis Kelce, with their own bobblehead giveaway next home game on Saturday, March 9 at 7:00 p.m.
