Charge Acquire Scoochie Smith

CANTON, OH - The Canton Charge, powered by the Cleveland Cavaliers, have acquired guard Dayshon "Scoochie" Smith and waived guard Maksym Pustozvonov, the team announced today.

Smith (6-2, 180, Dayton) played in 138 games over his four year career at the University of Dayton where he was the only player in school history to be named captain in three different seasons. He earned First Team All-Atlantic 10 honors as a senior in 2016-17 when he started all 32 games and averaged 13.8 points on .468 shooting with 4.5 assists and 1.6 steals in 31.3 minutes per game.

Pustozvonov played in 20 games with the Charge this season (one start) and averaged 2.7 points on .337 shooting and 1.6 rebounds in 11.9 minutes per game.
