
CF Montréal Falls to Vancouver Whitecaps FC

VANCOUVER, British Columbia - CF Montréal lost 5-0 to the Vancouver Whitecaps FC, Saturday, at BC Place.
Following an injury to team captain Samuel Piette in the 10th minute and the ejection of defender Rudy Camacho in the 23rd minute, the Whitecaps scored three goals at the end of the first half from Brian White (38'), Simon Becher (43') and Julian Gressel (45').
Then in the second half, Ali Ahmed scored at the 48th minute and Becher scored his second goal of the game at the 59th minute.
CF Montréal will play its upcoming game on Saturday, April 8 at 7:30pm against the New England Revolution at Gillette Stadium (Apple MLS Season Pass, BPM Sports, CJAD 800), and will then play its home opener at Stade Saputo on Saturday, April 15, at 7:30pm against D.C. United (Apple MLS Season Pass, RDS, TSN, BPM Sports, TSN 690).
MATCH NOTES:
-Forward Chinonso Offor started his first game with CF Montréal.
-Samuel Piette started his 130th game with CF Montréal, tying a Club record by a field player held by Nacho Piatti.
-Mathieu Choinière played his 79th game, tying a Club record for a homegrown player.
