LAFC Remains Unbeaten After 0-0 Tie in Colorado

The Los Angeles Football Club remained unbeaten in MLS play in 2023 following a 0-0 tie Saturday night in Colorado with the Rapids. A difficult and hard-fought game pushed LAFC's record to 3-0-2 (11 points) and the Black & Gold now sits in third place in the Western Conference. LAFC is one of just three MLS teams without a loss this season.

LAFC goalkeeper John McCarthy recorded his third shutout in MLS action and his fourth overall this season, facing 14 Colorado shots.

LAFC is back in action Wednesday, April 5 when the Club travels to Vancouver to face the Whitecaps in the first leg of the Concacaf Champions League Quarterfinals. That game kicks off at BC Place at 7 p.m. PT and will be televised on FS1 and TUDN (Spanish).

Just three days later, LAFC returns home to BMO Stadium for Match Day 7 of the MLS Regular Season when the Black & Gold host Austin FC on Saturday, April 8. Kick off for the match, presented by University of Phoenix, is scheduled for 4:30 p.m. PT and will be broadcast on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV.

NEWS & NOTES

LAFC is one of three teams, along with Minnesota United and FC Cincinnati that is yet to lose a game in MLS this season.

This is the fourth time in LAFC's six seasons in MLS that the Club is unbeaten in its opening five games of the season.

LAFC has allowed just three goals in MLS play this season, tied for second fewest in the league.
