CINCINNATI, Ohio - CF Montréal lost 3-0 against FC Cincinnati, Wednesday at TQL Stadium, ending a six-game winning streak (all competitions).

Cincinnati scored in the 2nd minute when the Montreal defense tried to block a long free kick but the ball beat goalkeeper Jonathan Sirois for an own goal. Then in the 26th minute, Luciano Acosta took advantage of a turnover in Montreal territory to double Cincinnati's lead. Brandon Vazquez scored the third goal in the 65th minute of play.

First in the Eastern Conference standings, Cincinnati remains perfect at home this season (7-0-0).

Playing eight games in the month of May, CF Montréal will play its next game against the New York Red Bulls in Harrison this Saturday at 7:30pm (Apple MLS Season Pass, RDS, TSN, BPM Sports, TSN 690).

MATCH NOTES

-The sequence without conceding a goal ended after 406 minutes, 14 minutes shy of the Club record in MLS.

-It was a first loss for CF Montréal since April 15.
