Albuquerque Isotopes News Release

The Albuquerque Isotopes will celebrate the 16th Home Opener in franchise history this Tuesday, April 10, at 6:35 p.m. against the Las Vegas 51s.

The first 3,000 fans to enter Isotopes Park will receive Isotopes beanies courtesy of Gonstead Physical Medicine.

Albuquerque Police Officer Ryan Holets will deliver the game's ceremonial first pitch. Last year, Officer Holets and his wife adopted a child in need of a new, healthy family environment. The Holets' generosity garnered national news as well as Officer Holets being recognized in January's State of the Union Address.

After the introduction of both the 51s and Isotopes players and coaches, the Albuquerque Quartet will perform the National Anthem. The Kirtland Air Force Honor Guard will present the colors.

Mayor Tim Keller will be on hand to be part of the annual check presentation from the Isotopes to the City of Albuquerque.

Isotopes President Ken Young will also be in attendance for the Opening Night festivities.

Tickets are still available at the Isotopes Park Box Office or online at abqisotopes.com. Gates open on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m. for the 6:35 p.m. first pitch.
