Cavalry FC News Release
Calgary, AB - Cavalry FC of the Canadian Premier League (CPL) today announced a new local partnership with Suncor, Canada's leading energy company.
The partnership connects Suncor to the Cavalry community and will be represented on the shorts and socks of Cavalry's 2026 kits, as well as on in-stadium signage throughout the season.
"We're proud to welcome Suncor as a partner of Cavalry FC," said Mason Trafford, Commercial Director, Cavalry FC. "Suncor is an organization with deep roots in our community, and this partnership reflects a shared commitment to supporting sport, community engagement, and the continued growth of soccer in Calgary. We're excited to work alongside them to create meaningful experiences for our supporters and make a lasting impact in the community."
"Sport brings people together in ways that build pride, connection and healthy communities," said Troy Little, Chief Financial Officer, Suncor. "For Suncor, supporting Cavalry FC is about more than the game itself - it's about championing the values the game inspires - teamwork, connection and leadership. We're proud to stand behind a team that reflects those values both on the pitch and throughout the community we're proud to call home."
In addition to the kit partnership, Suncor will partner with Cavalry through various community initiatives, including the club's 'Kick it Forward' Program and grassroots events.
